VPNalyzer is a research project to test the trustworthiness of commercial VPNs. I understand that they plan to release a VPN testing tool that will check for things like DNS leaks, VPN servers geolocation, and good security practices.
At this point in the research, they are asking VPN users to take a survey. The purpose of the survey is to better understand what people use VPNs for, how they think VPNs work, and how they choose a VPN provider.
